🏛️ زيارة قصر القبة

يُعد قصر القبة أحد أهم القصور الملكية في عصر أسرة محمد علي باشا، وقد بُني في عهد الخديوي إسماعيل على أطلال منزل قديم لوالده إبراهيم باشا.

استمر البناء لمدة 6 سنوات، حيث بدأ العمل في إنشائه عام 1867 وانتهى في أواخر عام 1872.

وقد افتُتح القصر رسميًا في يناير عام 1873 خلال حفل زفاف الأمير محمد توفيق، ولي عهد الخديوي إسماعيل، ليرتبط القصر فيما بعد بحفلات الزفاف والأفراح الأسطورية للعائلة الملكية.

يُعد قصر القبة من أكبر القصور الملكية من حيث المساحة، حيث تصل مساحته إلى حوالي 190 فدانًا.

وسُمّي القصر نسبةً إلى مبنى قديم من عصر المماليك يُعرف باسم مبنى القبة، حيث كانت تحيط به بحيرة مائية، وكانت المنطقة مقصدًا لكثير من أبناء العائلات الكبيرة والطبقة الراقية للصيد والتنزه.

🏛️ Al-Qubba Palace Tour

Al-Qubba Palace is one of the most important royal palaces of the Muhammad Ali Dynasty. It was built during the reign of Khedive Ismail on the site of an old house that belonged to his father, Ibrahim Pasha.

The construction lasted six years, beginning in 1867 and being completed by the end of 1872.

The palace was officially inaugurated in January 1873 during the wedding celebration of Prince Muhammad Tawfik, Crown Prince of Khedive Ismail. The palace later became associated with legendary weddings and celebrations of the Egyptian royal family.

Al-Qubba Palace is considered one of the largest royal palaces in terms of area, covering approximately 190 feddans.

The palace was named after an old Mamluk-era building known as Al-Qubba, which was surrounded by a lake and became a popular destination for members of prominent families and the upper class for fishing and leisure.
